Severe weather is not expected, however the stronger storms could produce brief periods of heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Chances for showers and storms continue Sunday and across southeast Kansas Sunday night. Heavy rain and potential flooding will remain the main threat. There will be slight chances for storms Monday night with a few strong storms possible. Heat indices between 100 and 110 are expected for Tuesday through Thursday across southern and southeast Kansas.
