Hot and windy conditions will lead to very high grassland fire danger along and west of I-135 through early evening. Isolated to widely scattered storms are possible along and north of I-70 this evening and tonight. Some strong or marginally severe storms will be possible this evening. The main threat will be damaging winds of 60 to 70 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage on Tuesday afternoon and linger into Tuesday night across much of the area. A few strong to marginally severe storms will be possible along with heavy rain and localized flooding. Periodic chances for showers and storms will return late Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
