This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous showers and perhaps a few embedded
thunderstorms will continue across the region this morning, exiting
to the east this afternoon. Localized minor flooding of typical
flood-prone and low-lying areas is possible over far southeast
Kansas, but widespread flooding or flash flooding is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The coolest air thus far this fall season will gradually spread
south into the region today and Friday and persist into the
weekend. Forecast low temperatures dipping into the 30s will support
frost Friday night into early Saturday across much of central and
south-central Kansas, and portions of southeast Kansas. Those with
sensitive plants should take action to protect them from the near-
freezing temperatures.

A few showers and thunderstorms may enter back into the forecast by
mid week. Stay tuned as we refine forecast details in the coming
days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
