This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for much of Central, South-Central
and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue in most areas this
morning. Scattered thunderstorms are possible from late this
afternoon thru late tonight. Strong to severe thunderstorms may
occur with 1 to 1.5 inch diameter hail, 60 to 70 mph winds and very
heavy rains. Areas at greatest risk for strong or severe
thunderstorms would be east of a line from Salina to Wellington.

Heat indices from 100 to 103 are likely in most areas this afternoon
with the exceptions being Lincoln, Russell and Barton counties where
heat indices should only reach the mid and upper 90s.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A few thunderstorms are possible for primarily southeast Kansas
Sunday afternoon and night.

Thunderstorms then return Tuesday night and should continue the rest
of the work-week. Severe thunderstorms are possible, especially the
middle of the week.

Heat indices from 105 to 110 are likely each afternoon from Sunday
through Tuesday.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
