This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are possible across south-central and
southeast Kansas this evening. Isolated strong downburst winds to
55 mph and locally heavy rainfall will be the main threats.

A few rivers in south-central and southeast Kansas are experiencing
minor flooding which will continue through tonight. Please refer to
the latest river and flood statements for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Periodic chances for thunderstorms are in the forecast from Monday
through Friday. Some of these storms will be strong to marginally
severe with locally heavy rainfall. During this period, there is an
increased chance for severe storms Tuesday night area wide.

The Cow Creek near Hutchinson and the Smoky Hill River near
Lindsborg will remain near flood through Tuesday morning.

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
