THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Patchy freezing drizzle is possible late tonight, generally north
of a line extending from Kingman to Wichita to Chanute. Patchy
slick spots may develop on untreated roads and elevated surfaces.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

Patchy freezing drizzle is possible through about mid-morning
Friday, mainly north of a line extending from Kingman to Wichita to
Chanute. Patchy slick spots may develop on untreated roads and
elevated surfaces.

A strong storm system will move across the region Saturday.
Confidence is increasing that a band of moderate to heavy snow will
fall somewhere across central to north-central Kansas, with strong
north to northwest winds possibly creating near-blizzard
conditions at times. There remains to be some uncertainty with the
track of this storm system. Please stay tuned for later forecasts
on this potentially high-impact system.

There is chance of thunderstorms across mainly south-central and
southeast Kansas late Friday night through Saturday. Small hail and
gusty winds may accompany the strongest activity.

Wind chills near zero are possible across central and north-
central Kansas late Sunday night through early Monday, and again
Tuesday night through early Wednesday.
