This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to widely scattered hit-or-miss thunderstorms are possible
across southeast Kansas this afternoon through early evening.
Additionally, a few isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms
cannot be ruled out from Russell and Barton counties. The strongest
activity will be capable of gusty winds to 40 mph and localized
brief heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Periodic chances for scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast
from Thursday through early Saturday, and again Sunday night
through early to mid next week. While a handful of strong to
perhaps marginally severe thunderstorms are possible, the risk for
organized severe weather is low.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
