This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Some flooding continues along the Neosho River today. See latest
river flood warnings for more details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Thunderstorm chances could return to southern Kansas Tuesday
afternoon and Tuesday evening. A strong storm or two may be possible
but widespread severe weather is not expected.

The heat will build over the area for Wednesday afternoon with heat
indices likely surpassing 100 degrees.

Thunderstorm chances will increase for Wednesday evening and
Wednesday night with severe weather possible mainly along and east
of the Kansas Turnpike. Additional chances for thunderstorms may
arrive for Thursday and into the weekend.
