This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Hit-or-miss thunderstorms will once again impact the region this
evening and into the overnight hours northwest of the Kansas
Turnpike. While widespread severe weather is not expected, the
strongest activity before midnight will be capable of 70 mph winds,
small hail, and locally heavy rain, which could produce some minor
flooding in spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heat indices in the 105 to 110 degree range are expected again on
Saturday, with the biggest impacts across south central and
southeast Kansas.

Thunderstorms will remain possible on Saturday through Monday, with
western and central Kansas having the best coverage. A few strong
storms will be possible through the period.

  extreme heat and high humidity events.
