Some storms could be strong to marginally severe capable of producing downbursts with wind gusts between 55 and 65 mph. Additionally, storms will produce heavy rainfall, and this may lead to localized flooding. Heat indicies will hit or exceed 105 across portions of southeast Kansas today.
