This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Active weather is expected with several rounds of showers and
thunderstorms possible through the day and overnight. Isolated
severe thunderstorms are possible with brief tornadoes and
damaging wind the primary concern. Repetitive heavy thunderstorm
rains are possible that may lead to flash flooding, a flash flood
watch is in effect for parts of the area.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday before very hot
and humid conditions take hold. The hottest conditions so far this
year are forecast with heat index values 100 to 105 degrees.
Another front brings a chance for storms/heavy rain Thursday night
and Friday and possibly returning by Sunday.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
  areas, Alexander, Jackson, Massac, Pulaski and Union, western
  Kentucky, including the following areas, Ballard, Carlisle,
  Graves, Hickman and McCracken, and southeast Missouri, including
  the following area, Perry MO.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
