...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and overnight.
Torrential rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds are expected with any
storms.

Locally excessive rainfall may result in flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Rounds of thunderstorms will be possible Monday through Tuesday.
Thunderstorms will be capable of producing torrential rainfall, gusty
winds, and lightning. Heavy rainfall rates may lead to localized
flash flooding.

Very hot and humid conditions are expected Wednesday and Thursday
with heat indices above 100 to 105 at times.

Spotter activation may be needed.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms will move to the east-southeast at 25 to 30 mph.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following areas, Clark
  IN, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison IN, Jefferson IN, Orange,
  Perry, Scott IN and Washington IN and Kentucky, including the
  following areas, Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Bullitt, Casey, Clark
  KY, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison KY, Henry, Jefferson,
  Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Marion, Meade, Mercer, Nelson,
  Nicholas, Oldham, Scott KY, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, Washington
  KY and Woodford.

* WHEN...Through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected to move
    across the watch area over the next few days. Torrential
    rainfall rates and training of storms will lead to rainfall
    amounts that could produce flash flooding. Southern and
    western portions of the watch area may not see showers and
    storms until the later portions of the watch time period.
