This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...through Tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected to continue this
afternoon from the combination of low humidity, partly sunny skies,
unseasonably warm temperatures, drying fuels, and breezy southwest
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A few rounds of storms are possible through the upcoming week. The
most likely times will be late Wednesday night into Thursday, and
again later Saturday into Sunday. Some of the storms could become
strong, but confidence remains low for now.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...Elevated Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon...

A combination of well-above average temperatures, low relative humidity,
breezy winds, and worsening drought conditions will result in
elevated fire weather conditions for this afternoon. Winds will be
out of the southwest this afternoon, gusting up to 20 to 25 mph,
and relative humidity values will drop to around 25 to 35 percent
across the area. Conditions will improve after sunset as winds
slowly decrease and relative humidity values increase.
