This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger through sunset
across the region. With abundant moisture in place, heavy
rainfall will be possible with the stronger thunderstorms, as
well as brief gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
Outside of the rainfall, hot and humid conditions can be expected
through the remainder of the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A persistent weather pattern will maintain hot and humid days and
warm and muggy nights with a daily chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Heat index values for Monday and Tuesday afternoons
will exceed 105 degrees in most inland locations.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
