This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Southwest winds of 20 to 25 knots and waves of 1 to 4 feet
persist through early this morning near Grand Portage, posing a
hazard to small craft. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected for this morning into
evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible late this
morning into early evening, with hail up to quarter size and wind
gusts of 35 to 50 kt.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong southwest wind gusts on Saturday afternoon may lead to
hazardous conditions for small craft along portions of the North
Shore north of Taconite Harbor. Small Craft Advisories may be
needed.
