...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...West winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* WHERE...In Connecticut, Litchfield County. In Massachusetts,
  Berkshire County. In New York, Eastern Columbia, Eastern Dutchess,
  and Eastern Rensselaer Counties. In Vermont, Bennington and
  Windham Counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...In the wake of a strong cold front, gusty
  westerly winds will continue through the morning hours.  Gusts
  through the early morning hours will continue to be up to 55 mph,
  with gusts decreasing to 40 to 45 mph by the mid to late morning
  hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
