...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING
THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut and western Massachusetts

* WHEN...From 5 AM EDT early this morning through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Periods of moderate to heavy rain along with some embedded
    thunderstorms are expected to track into western New England
    today  before a cold front sweeps through the region tonight.
    A total of 1 to 2.5 inches of rain is likely through Tuesday
    morning which can lead to rises on area rivers and streams
    and result in urban and poor drainage flooding, especially
    during heavy downpours.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11 AM
EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...West to southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50
  mph expected.

* WHERE...Litchfield and Berkshire County in western New England. In
  New York, the Eastern Columbia, Eastern Dutchess, and Eastern
  Rensselaer Counties. In Vermont, Bennington and Western Windham
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 11 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South to southwest winds will strengthen this
  afternoon into this evening before a potent cold front sweeps
  through the region tonight resulting in winds to switch to the
  west. Wind gusts today through Tuesday morning can peak up to
  50mph.
