This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern Massachusetts and
northeastern Massachusetts.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Winter Weather Advisory.
   Dense Fog Advisory.

There is a risk for some minor urban and poor drainage flooding and
a low risk for some additional flooding on rivers due to lagging ice
jams.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 11 AM EST this morning.

* Location...The high terrain of the east slopes of Berkshires
  to the Worcester Hills, northwest Rhode Island and northeast
  Connecticut.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Through mid morning.

* Impacts...Dense fog will result in hazardous travel for
  motorists into mid morning. Drive with extra caution and leave
  plenty of space between the vehicle in front of you.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If
driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

* WHAT...Freezing rain and freezing drizzle. Untreated roads
  walkways will be very icy...please use extra caution while
  driving or walking this morning.. Additional ice accumulations
  of around one tenth are expected.

* WHERE...Central Middlesex MA and Western Essex MA Counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for icy roads. Slow down and
  use caution while driving.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
