...LIGHT SNOW IS FALLING ACROSS THE REGION AND WILL RESULT IN
SLIPPERY TRAVEL FOR THE EVENING COMMUTE NEAR AND ESPECIALLY NORTH
OF THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE...

Light snow is falling across the region with a coating and up to
2 inches of snow north of the MA Pike. Some locations in the high
terrain of the East Slopes of the Berkshires may see localized 3
inch amounts. Snow is expected to wind down from west to east
between 7 to 9pm.

While snow amounts into early this evening will be light, this
does look to coincide with the late day commute. Therefore,
motorists planning travel across northern Massachusetts this
afternoon and early evening should be prepared for slippery travel
especially in the higher terrain.
