...LIGHT SNOW OVERSPREADS THE REGION FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND MAY
RESULT IN SLIPPERY TRAVEL NEAR AND ESPECIALLY NORTH OF THE
MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE...

Light snow will overspread the region Friday afternoon. Snowfall
amounts will be light, generally on the order of a coating to 1
inch. Some locations in the high terrain of the northern Worcester
Hills and far northwest MA may see localized 2 to 3 inch amounts.

While snow amounts Friday afternoon and early evening will be
light, this does look to coincide with the late day Friday
commute. Therefore, motorists planning travel across northern
Massachusetts Friday afternoon and early evening should be
prepared for slippery travel especially in the higher terrain.
