MORNING...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills from
  negative 5 to negative 15 degrees expected.

* WHERE...The District of Columbia, portions of central and
  southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills could result in
  hypothermia and frostbite if precautions are not taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.

Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 11am for the entire area.

A Gale Warning is in effect for all waters today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

The combination of moderate to heavy rain, along with snowmelt
and ice melt, has the potential to produce flooding during the
second half of the week.
