The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Baltimore City in northern Maryland...
  East central Baltimore County in northern Maryland...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 200 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the area. Up to three inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Heavy
  rain will continue over the warned area with additional amounts
  around 1 to 2 inches within the next hour.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Baltimore, Parkville, Carney, Perry Hall, Rossville, White Marsh
  and Fullerton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

* Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Baltimore City in northern Maryland...
  Southeastern Baltimore County in northern Maryland...

* Until 730 PM EDT Sunday.

* At 127 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain
  have already fallen and an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain are
  expected within the next hour. This will cause flooding in low-
  lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Baltimore, Middle River, Dundalk, Towson, Essex, Parkville, Carney,
  Perry Hall, Rosedale, Rossville, White Marsh, Kingsville,
  Joppatowne, Nottingham, Fullerton, Loch Raven Village and
  Gunpowder.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All

* Portions of Maryland, The District of Columbia, and Virginia,
  including the following areas, in Maryland, Anne Arundel,
  Central and Southeast Howard, Central and Southeast
  Montgomery, Charles, Northern Baltimore, Northwest Harford,
  Northwest Howard, Northwest Montgomery, Prince Georges,
  Southeast Harford, and Southern Baltimore. The District of
  Columbia. In Virginia, Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria,
  Culpeper, Eastern Loudoun, Fairfax, Greene, Madison, Northern
  Fauquier, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, Prince
  William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Rappahannock, Southern
  Fauquier, and Stafford.

* Until 10 PM EDT this evening

* Showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy rain are expected
  this afternoon and evening, and may lead to flash flooding.
  Localized rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from noon through 10 PM this
evening for the I-95 corridor from northeast Maryland to
Fredericksburg Virginia including the Baltimore and Washington DC
metro areas. There may be some localized areas of flooding due to
heavy rainfall from thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms may produce gusty winds over the waters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
