The Maine State Forest Service has indicated that the wildfire
danger across Hancock, Washington, Penobscot, Piscataquis and
southern Aroostook counties will increase Friday due to very low
relative humidity, west winds gusting up to 35 mph, and
temperatures reaching the upper 80s. You should check with your
local fire department or forestry office before doing any burning.
Please remember that a burn permit is required for all burning.
