Accumulating snow expected across parts of the area today into
tonight, with the heaviest beginning tonight/ Monday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Snow on Monday will be accompanied by gusty northwest winds,
considerable blowing and drifting snow, and falling temperatures.

Wind chills in the teens and 20s below zero are expected Tuesday
morning.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
  6 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds could gust
  as high as 40 mph with significant blowing and drifting snow
  Monday.

* WHERE...Emmet County.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible Monday and may make
  travel treacherous. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of
  blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
