This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Snow intensifies this evening near and northwest of a South Haven
to Grand Rapids to Big Rapids line. This snow area expands east later
tonight and accumulating snow is likely for most areas by Monday
morning. Hazardous travel conditions will develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Monday, snow and blowing snow is expected. The heaviest amounts
will be near and west of US-131 where generally 6 to 10 inches is
likely to fall by early Tuesday. Blowing and drifting snow and
occasional whiteout conditions will create hazardous travel
conditions over much of western, central, and southern Michigan.
Wind chills could dip toward -5 to -15 degrees Monday into
Tuesday morning.

Additional accumulating snow is likely Wednesday through Friday
with some travel impacts. Very cold temperatures may return late
in the week into the weekend with single digit to subzero
temperatures possible.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM
EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1
  to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Michigan.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Visibility and road conditions may change rapidly over
  short distances in lake effect snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills below zero degrees Monday and
  Monday Night could lead to frostbite within 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
