This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dangerously hot weather in store for today, with heat index
values from 95 to 105 degrees expected. Extreme Heat Warnings and
Heat Advisories are in effect. A conditional threat for a few
isolated strong storms can`t be ruled out later this afternoon
and evening, but the potential is low. Small hail and gusty winds would
be the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Dangerously hot weather is expected again on Sunday. Heat index
values from 95 to 105 degrees are possible.

Additional strong to severe thunderstorms may be possible Sunday
into early Monday, with damaging winds and large hail as the main
threats. A lower threat for tornadoes also exists in northeast
Minnesota late Sunday.

rainfall amounts to the National Weather Service.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding is occurring caused by
  excessive rainfall that fell Friday night into early Saturday
  morning.

* WHERE...Northeast and east-central Itasca County and the Iron
  Range in central St. Louis County.

* WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Elevated flows in area creeks and streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 618 AM CDT Saturday, local law enforcement dispatch
    reported flooding in the advisory area due to the 3 to 4
    inches of heavy rain that fell Friday night into early
    Saturday morning.
  - The Quad Cities along the Iron Range are the most likely
    place to experience minor flooding.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hibbing, Virginia, Chisholm, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Hoyt
    Lakes, Gilbert, Aurora, Babbitt, Keewatin, Buhl, Nashwauk,
    Biwabik, Cherry, Embarrass, McCarthy Beach State Park, Perch
    Lake, Franklin, Kinney and Stony Brook.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

  Lake area.

* WHEN...From noon today to 9 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.
