This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A round of accumulating snow continues this morning across
portions of north central MN and all of NW WI. This snow will
taper off west to east through the morning and early afternoon
hours Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings remain
in effect until 1 PM.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Another round of snow, strong wind, and blowing snow is expected
Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. Some moderate to heavy
snow accumulations are possible.

More snow is possible this weekend but totals are trending down
with the storm track looking more southerly.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 1 and
  6 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine, Cass, and South
  Itasca Counties. In Wisconsin, Price, Burnett, Sawyer, and
  Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix
  Band in Burnett County, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and
  the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake, Big Sandy Lake, Hinckley and, Lena
  Lake areas.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Due to strong winds,
  blowing snow may drop visibilities below 1/4 mile at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The track of the system will greatly
  influence the amount of snow and wind that occurs.
