This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected to develop later this morning, and
continue through the afternoon hours, mainly along the Iron Range
and points southward. Thunderstorms could linger into the early
evening hours over portions of northwest Wisconsin. A few of these
storms could be strong to severe, especially over our southern
tier of counties. Large hail, damaging winds, and frequent cloud-
to-ground lightning are the main threats. A Severe Thunderstorm
Watch is currently in effect for Cass, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine,
and Burnett counties through 1 PM this afternoon. Additionally,
heavy rainfall is possible from central Minnesota east into
northwest Wisconsin. Localized minor flooding will be possible
where heavy rainfall occurs.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorms will be possible Saturday night into Sunday. Some
of these storms could be severe and produce very heavy rainfall.
There will be periodic chances for more thunderstorms Sunday night
into next week.

Skywarn Spotters may be needed late this morning and through the
afternoon hours today.
