This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Fog is likely to develop and spread inland from Lake Superior
tonight. The fog may become dense and cause hazardous travel
conditions overnight tonight for parts of the Northland.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Periodic thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening,
then again Thursday afternoon through Sunday. Some strong storms may
occur Friday. Heavy rain, hail and gusty winds are the main
hazards.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed tonight.

...DENSE FOG EXPECTED TONIGHT...

.Dense fog is expected again tonight, especially near Lake
Superior. The visibility will drop to a half mile or less. Expect
the fog to lift by mid Tuesday morning for most areas.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT Tuesday.

* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Douglas County. In Minnesota, Southern
  Lake and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. This includes
  the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band.

* VISIBILITIES...A quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel difficult.

* TIMING...Tonight into Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
