This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous wind chill values are expected through 9 am and wind
chill advisories are in effect. Look for hazardous wind chill
values again tonight and a wind chill advisory is in effect
tonight beginning at 9 pm.

Up to one inch of snow is possible over the Bayfield peninsula
today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Bitterly cold wind chills are expected through Wednesday morning.
A wind chill advisory is in effect until noon.

There is a chance for light snowfall late Wednesday night through
Thursday across much of the Northland. Around 1 to 3 inches of
snow is possible, with the best chance for snow from the I-35
corridor east across all of northwest Wisconsin, including the
Twin Ports.

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS
MORNING...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the first Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind
  chills. Wind chills as low as 30 below zero. For the second
  Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind
  chills as low as 35 below zero.

* WHERE...Koochiching, North St. Louis, Northern Cook and Lake,
  Central St. Louis, Southern Lake, Southern Cook and Carlton
  and South St. Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands
  of the Fond du Lac Band, the Grand Portage Reservation and the
  Bois Forte Band, Nett Lake and, Lake Vermillion areas.

* WHEN...For the first Wind Chill Advisory, until 10 AM CST this
  morning. For the second Wind Chill Advisory, from 9 PM this
  evening to noon CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite
  on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
