This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for all areas into this
evening, with snowfall beginning a slow decrease.  Please refer
to the latest Winter Weather Message and official forecast for
additional details on the ongoing winter storm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Accumulating snow, with amounts of at least a few inches, is
possible across central and western Minnesota Friday and Friday
night.

A major winter storm is possible Saturday and Sunday, with
significant snow accumulation possible across central and
southern Minnesota into west central Wisconsin.

Accumulating snow is also possible Monday night and Tuesday of
next week.

Spotters and snowfall observers are urged to report snowfall
amounts to the National Weather Service.

...HEAVY SNOW WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH TO FLURRIES FROM SOUTHWEST TO
NORTHEAST THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for all of central and
southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin into this evening.

The winter storm that has been affecting the entire area since
early this morning will slowly begins to loosen its grip on the
region later this afternoon and evening, with snow tapering to
flurries from southwest to northeast across the region. Storm
total accumulations of 6 to 10 inches can be expected in many
areas, and very low visibility will persist into this evening.

Road conditions will remain slick and hazardous in most areas,
with major impacts on the evening rush hour, and evening school
events.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central,
  southeast, southwest and west central Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult through
  this evening, with major impacts to travel for the afternoon
  Twin Cities rush hour and all evening school activities and
  sporting events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
