PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioning if possible, and check on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Stay out of the sun as much as possible. Wear lightweight, loose fitting clothing. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
