This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

Afternoon high temperatures have again reached the low to mid 90s
across the area, with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue this afternoon
into the early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected from
Friday through Sunday. Chances for showers and thunderstorms may
then return by the middle of next work week.

Heavy rainfall will be possible at times over portions of the
outlook area from Friday through Sunday. Early indications are
that locations generally near and north of the Interstate 44
corridor may stand the best chance for heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
