This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A dangerous combo of heat and humidity is expected this afternoon for
much of the Saint Louis metro area. Heat index values are expected to
peak around 105 degrees there, with around 100 in most of the rest of
the area. Please refer to the Heat Advisory that is in effect for
further information.

There is a chance for thunderstorms across much of the area through
early evening, and then again late tonight in northeast Missouri.
A few storms this afternoon and early evening could produce strong
wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms across parts of the area each day.
Some of the storms may be severe on Tuesday. The primary severe
threat is damaging winds.

Heat index values will climb to between 100 and 105 on Tuesday.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
