Weather hazards expected... Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited lightning risk. Significant excessive heat risk. DISCUSSION... Afternoon temperatures will warm back into the mid 90s with heat index values in the 100 to 109 degree range. A few thunderstorms may make it into central Missouri tonight. If they do, the stronger storms would be capable of damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph. Most of the thunderstorm activity however should remain north of the area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. The excessive heat will continue Mondy through the end of next week with highs generally in the mid 90s and heat index values from 100 to 110 each day.
