This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Bitterly cold temperatures, gusty winds, and slick roads will
continue to impact the region through at least the morning hours.
Please refer to the Special Weather Statement for more details.

There is a chance of light snow or flurries this afternoon,
especially across southern Illinois and adjacent portions of
southeast Missouri and western Kentucky. While a very light snow
accumulation cannot be ruled out, no significant impacts are
expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

There is some potential for rain to change over to snow before
ending late Tuesday night or Wednesday. Minor accumulations cannot
be ruled out at this time.

Wind chill values will range from 0 to 5 below across the northern
half of the area late Thursday night into Friday morning.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
