This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and storms will move across mainly the southern portions

be possible with this activity as it makes its way slowly across
the region.

Severe thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday night with damaging
winds and large hail as the main hazards. A greater severe risk
for much of the area is then possible Wednesday. There are still
some uncertainties in storm mode, but all hazards could be
possible.

Heat index values may approach 100 degrees by the middle of next
week.
