This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Dry air behind the front along with modestly breezy winds will
bring localized areas of elevated fire danger. That said, recent
rainfall should make fuels less receptive, limiting any
appreciable concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined southwest Missouri and
southeast Kansas in a Slight (2 of 5) Risk for severe
thunderstorm potential Tuesday. Likewise, there is also a Slight
(2 of 4) Risk for excessive rainfall and associated localized
flooding.
