This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Montana...south central Montana...southeast Montana and north
central Wyoming.

* WHAT...More widespread precipitation for the end of the Memorial
  Day weekend.

* WHERE... South Central into Southeast Montana and Northern
  Wyoming.

* WHEN...Sunday into Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another slow moving storm system is forecast
  to bring additional widespread precipitation to the area over the
  later half of the Memorial Day weekend. Periods of moderate
  precipitation falling on already saturated soil will increase
  flooding concerns.

* ADDITIONAL HAZARD CONCERNS...Snowfall in the Beartooth mountains
  may delay or impeded travel over the Beartooth highway on opening
  weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Weather Outlook is issued when hazardous weather could
impact the region within the next week. Be sure to stay tuned for
future updates as locations, timing, and impacts could change.
Begin preparations to mitigate any impacts that could result from
the hazardous weather.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM MDT
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Wet snow accumulations over a
  foot. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Highest accumulations
  above 6500 ft on northeast facing slopes.

* WHERE...In Wyoming, Northeast Bighorn Mountains. In Montana,
  Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM MDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel and back country conditions will
  be very hazardous. Power outages are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow will
make travel very hazardous or impossible. Visibility will be
reduced, so avoid travel in the mountains if possible.
