In addition to the flood threat, some storms this afternoon may become severe and produce damaging winds that could blow down trees and power lines. Hail is also possible in the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Afternoon storms will once again will be capable of producing heavy rainfall that could cause localized flash flooding, particularly in flood prone and urban areas.
