This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Passage of a strong cold front is expected to bring a sudden drop in
temperatures Sunday which may result in a rapid freeze and onset of
accumulating snow across the western mountains, including strong
northwest winds, as well as low wind chills.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
