evening. The primary hazards are large hail and damaging wind.

SOUTHERN SURRY...EAST CENTRAL WILKES AND YADKIN COUNTIES THROUGH 430
PM EDT...

At 354 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pleasant Hill, or over Elkin, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.
