This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Cold Weather Advisory. As Arctic air spreads into the area, temperatures Sunday night will drop to lows in the teens. Widespread wind chills in the single digits are expected Sunday evening through mid morning Monday. These values will pose elevated cold exposure risks for anyone outdoors without adequate protection. Dress in layers, and ensure pets and vulnerable family and neighbors are warm and safe. Additionally, gusty northwest winds Sunday night will range from 15 to 25 mph sustained, with peak gusts up to 25 to 35 mph. These gusts will easily blow around unsecured outdoor objects, including holiday decorations. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
