An active pattern will continue through the end of the work week. Numerous to widespread showers and storms are expected Thursday and Friday. Some areas have received excessive rainfall in the last few days, and any additional rain falling on saturated soils may result in isolated to scattered flash flooding. A few strong to severe storms are also possible Thursday and Friday, mainly in the afternoon through evening, with damaging wind gusts as the primary threat. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
