* Flood Warning for...

Bladen County in southeastern North Carolina...
Brunswick County in southeastern North Carolina...
Darlington County in northeastern South Carolina...

* Until 1015 AM EDT Thursday.

* At 720 AM EDT, emergency management continues to report widespread
flooding across the warned area. Although rainfall from Florence
has ended, accumulations of 10 to 25+ inches of rain has caused
excessive runoff and many towns and communities are flooded. Many
roads are impassable, barricaded, or washed away. Flowing water
covers interstates. Some neighborhoods are cut off. Rivers,
creeks, and tributaries are rising, flooding even more areas and
slowing the recession of high water. People in the warned area
should not travel, and be prepared for widespread flooding of a
magnitude greater than Floyd and Matthew.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wilmington, Florence, Myrtle Beach, Lumberton, Conway, North Myrtle
Beach, Leland, Bennettsville, Hartsville, Marion, Dillon, Oak
Island, Lake City, Darlington, Cheraw, Carolina Beach, Whiteville,
  Mullins, Burgaw and Surfside Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
