This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A light, wintry mix of precipitation may develop late Tuesday night
into Wednesday morning before the precipitation changes over to rain
during the day on Wednesday. A light glaze of ice will be possible
at locations along and north of the North Carolina line, especially
across the southern mountains and the Interstate 40 corridor.
Locally
heavy rainfall will then be possible Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday morning. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches, with spotty 3
inch amounts in the mountains, may produce isolated stream and river
flooding in the region by Wednesday night.
