This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms producing cloud to ground lightning and gusty
winds will develop across the higher terrain of the western Carolinas
and northeast Georgia this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Strong to severe thunderstorm will develop along a surface boundary
around and north of the I-85 corridor Friday afternoon. These storms
will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and heavy
rainfall.

On Saturday, thunderstorms will continue to develop across the same
general area and produce high rainfall rates, which could lead to
localized urban and small stream flooding.
