FOR NORTHWESTERN ANTELOPE AND SOUTHWESTERN KNOX COUNTIES...

At 903 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Page, or 13 miles northeast of O`Neill, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Verdigre, Orchard, Winnetoon, Royal, The Highway 14 And 59 Junction
and Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 836 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain, rain rates
approaching 2 inches per hour, with a thunderstorm near Coleridge.
This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hartington, Randolph, Coleridge, Wynot, Laurel, Crofton, Pleasant
Valley, Fordyce, Belden, St. Helena, Obert, Brooky Bottom, Camp

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN ANTELOPE AND
SOUTHWESTERN KNOX COUNTIES UNTIL 915 PM CDT...

At 835 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Lynch, or 13 miles northeast of O`Neill, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

Nickel size hail will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Verdigre, Orchard, The Highway 14 And 59 Junction and Ashfall Fossil
Beds State Historical Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN KNOX COUNTY...

At 739 PM CDT, Thunderstorms had exited the region, with doppler
radar indicating 2 to 3 of rain over northeastern Knox County in the
last 2 hours. Runoff from this rainfall is expected to continue over
the next couple hours, allowing the risk for flash flooding to
persist.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Crofton and Lindy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Thursday

Severe thunderstorms will continue moving southeast across
northeast Nebraska this evening. Isolated tornadoes, large hail
and damaging thunderstorms are possible. This activity is expected
to continue moving southeast into east central Nebraska later
tonightwhere damaging thunderstorm winds and large hail will be
the primary hazards. Locally heavy rainfall may also accompany
the severe storms.

Minor flooding will continue on the Missouri River from Nebraska
City downstream to Rulo.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Wednesday

Isolated thunderstorms may linger into Thursday morning in eastern
parts of the area, then on and off again chances remain for Sunday
through Tuesday.

Minor flooding will continue along the Missouri River from
Nebraska City downstream to Rulo.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will be needed across portions of northeast
Nebraska this evening.
