This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Some flooding may linger in portions of northeast Nebraska this
morning.

There is a 20-40% chance of storms today and a 5% chance of
severe storms, mainly this afternoon and evening. The primary
threats would be damaging winds and hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Storm chances return Tuesday through Thursday. Areas that receive
repeated rounds of rainfall could see some flooding.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is unlikely today, but reports of severe
weather are appreciated.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 AM FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties,
  Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie and Shelby and Nebraska, including
  the following counties, Burt, Butler, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming,
  Dodge, Douglas, Madison, Pierce, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Stanton,
  Thurston, Washington and Wayne.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks, and low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A cluster of storms will bring heavy rain to areas across
    eastern Nebraska and western Iowa through Friday morning.
