This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Friday

A low end chance for a shower or storm exists south of I-80 early
Friday morning. Severe weather is not expected.

A 50 to 60% chance for showers and storms arrives Friday evening.
Some of these storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts and
large hail. A marginal risk of severe weather exists for areas
north of Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday night through Thursday

Showers and storms will continue in the late evening hours Friday
into Saturday morning. Some of these storms could be strong to
severe with damaging winds and hail.

A 20 to 40% chance of storms is again possible Saturday afternoon
and evening. Some of these storms could be strong to severe. Low
end 15 to 20% chances for showers and storms exist Sunday through
Thursday. The threat of flooding will increase with each
successive round of storms.

Potentially dangerous heat will arrive next week with widespread
heat indices of 100 to 110 Monday through Wednesday.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight, but may be
needed Friday.
