This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the entire outlook area
from through 9PM. Refer to the latest warning message for
additional information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Near critical to critical fire weather conditions will be
possible for various portions of the outlook area Tuesday through
Friday. Thursday currently looks to be the day with the best
overall potential for critical fire weather conditions.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING
FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...

* WINDS...South-southwesterly with sustained speeds near 15 to 20
  mph and gusts near 25 to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 to 15 percent for areas west of
  Highway 281, as low as 15 to 20 percent for areas along and east
  of Highway 281.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
