This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for the entire outlook area
from Noon to 9PM. Southerly winds of 10 to 20 MPH with gusts to 30
MPH are expected along with relative humidity values as low as 10
to 20 percent. Any fire that develops will spread quickly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Near critical fire weather conditions will be possible each day
for at least a portion of the area due to the combination of
breezy winds and low humidity. The next best day for fire weather
will be Thursday.

EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...

The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon today to 9 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 to 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
