This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New Jersey, east
central Pennsylvania and northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Heavy rain is possible Wednesday night into Thursday as the remnant
low of Barry passes through the region. Flooding is possible.

Excessive heat is possible late this week. Heat index values 100 to
110 are possible Friday and Saturday afternoons.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IS IN EFFECT FOR TUESDAY JULY 16...

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has
issued a code orange air quality alert Tuesday for Morris and
Somerset Counties.

A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people
suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung
diseases...and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can
be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
