Winds will strengthen over central and eastern areas late Monday morning, but not until mid afternoon farther west. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), West Central Mountains (Zone 105), and West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109) Sunday from noon until 10 PM MDT, and Monday from 3 PM until 10 PM. * 20 FOOT WINDS...On Sunday, southwest at 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. On Monday, west at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...8-18 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly and will be hard to control.
